Two mamaks, one named Arul Kanda, the other Firdaus Abdullah, one screwing the other. Below, Firdaus favorite depiction of Mahathir: the man knows how to think? Really?
When Mahathir Mohamad went on a campaign against Najib Razak using 1MDB, his audiences were exclusively Malays and Umno members. This preference harks back to Mahathir’s gut racism: Malaysia belongs to Malays, the Chinese are trespassers, squatters now — a line repeatedly trolled out in the past by his sycophants, namely Firdaus Abdullah at Apanama, Syed Ali Akbar at Outsyed the Box, and Kadir Jasin at the Scribe.
Since 1MDB is a government enterprise, set up by Najib Razak specifically, then it goes to reason, Malays have the primary stake in it. Why should the DAP, much less the Chinese, give a shit over a Malay swindle?
Here was the other problem: Even Malays who knew how to count couldn’t care less about 1MDB, also a sign, according to Mahathir lately, that they have become ‘dump‘. Six months into a daily campaign that got nowhere, Mahathir began speaking of ‘citizens’, by which he includes the Chinese. Hence the Citizens’ Declaration. His henchmen duly followed the line: Kadir ends up talking with Malaysiakini and the DAP.
Why had 1MDB failed to get the attention of the Malays? And, now, even among the Chinese, as Sarawak, Sungai Besar and Kuala Kangsar have demonstrated thrice. Here, as speculation, are two interconnected reasons, the underpinning causes: 1MDB is a legal, a criminal, a governance, a fiduciary, and in a deeper sense a moral issue, any of which had nothing to do with politics, hence with race. But not with Mahathir.
He, on the other hand, turned it into an exclusive political battle, therefore, an internal Umno matter that was cemented with the removal of Muhyiddin and others, all of who were at the forefront of the 1MDB campaign. Once 1MDB was made political, what was Najib to do? How should he respond? Easy. Bring out the DAP by which he means to say the Chinese. Consequently, out came the Red Shirts, Petaling Street, Ismail Sabri and Malay maruah.
Small wonder the Malays are confused by Mahathir’s 1MDB campaigns and do nothing:
- If they stood against Najib over 1MDB (as opposed to standing up for Mahathir), they would naturally see themselves backing the Chinese and the DAP that Umno has been making so clear.
- If they stood against Mahathir, also over 1MDB (as opposed to standing up for Najib), they would be fighting other Malays, and Mahathir, like so many mamaks then and now, is so good at pretending to be one.
Mahathir wrong once, twice, thrice and repeatedly isn’t new. His morality is indisputable but he sits on the wrong side of politics where he is good at rabble rousing. He thinks poorly and ineffectually whereas his sycophants, like pigs following their farm keepers to the slaughterhouse, contribute nothing to pull him back.
Here is the boy-pig named Firdaus Abdullah, with the title in his latest post:
Maruah siapa ditangan Jho Low?
Like Najib deploying Red Shirts to Petaling Street to quell a simmering 1MDB campaign, Firdaus trust out Jho Low as a Chinese representative into a Malay fraud which can only be sanctioned at the highest government level that is also Malay. In another phrasing, Firdaus simply continued where Mahathir left off, which then makes Low right in his own assessment when speaking to Euromoney magazine last year:
Are you telling me the prime minister doesn’t make his own decisions? That the ministry, the minister of finance, who is the prime minister – and there are only two to three people in the finance ministry that sign off on shareholder resolutions under law – that none of them… that they just signed without evaluating it?… There are so many other people who get away with ridiculous billions and billions and billions worth of projects. But every single time there seems to be a political attack, wow, suddenly Jho is there again.
Boy-pigs like Firdaus — and they are no different from Petra Kamarudin; only they stand on different sides of Umno — know full well what it is Low is talking about. They still can’t understand how it is possible Najib could get away with the Swindle. But the fascism of Firdaus, bundled in with Mahathir’s ketuanan racism, prefer, like Najib, to find the Chinese a continuing scapegoat for the ills of the Malays. And the result is predictable.
Here, an anonymous response to Firdaus:
Puak2 haramjadah cilaka lahanat ni,kalau berkaitan saudara seagama bkn main hebat lg diungkit2.
Cina dapigs laknatullah menjahanamkan mruah bangsa, agama dan negara ,puak2 laknat ni diam sj.
Bangsa laknat kamuorg ni.
Hidup menjadi bangkai khinzie dapigs laknatullah.
Dasar manudia hati khunzir dapigs laknatullah
Another, from one rahman jpc: It’s the Chinese, says Rahman, who had used Najib to cheat the Malays.
saya masih bingung kenapa ds najib begitu cuai sahingga bolih d ‘tipu’ olih budak tionhua hingusan.
hampir kesemua ahli politik menyalahguna kuasa tetapi mereka cekap menyembunyikan nya.
kesimpulan yg bolih saya buat ia lah ds najib tlh d didik utk berintegriti tapi tlh d pengaruhi olih keinginan menjadi kaya raya bersama keluarga.
olih kerana ‘money trail’ kekayaan yg haram tlh dpt d kesan, maka sukar utk d ‘cover up’. maruah keluarga tun razak tercabar sekarang.
Well, so be it. Malays and mamaks like Firdaus, the poor pig, are still wondering how is it Najib could do such a thing.
Here’s a fervent Chinese wish: May Najib succeed; may he get away with 1MDB and bring down Malays like Firdaus and Rahman with him, as many as is possible. Better yet, may Najib screw the whole agama, bangsa dan negara business. It is, after all, not our agama, nor our bangsa. Negara maybe, but that’s with a caveat. Malaysia, as represented by Najib, Mahathir et al, doesn’t deserve the loyalty of the Chinese.
One more thing, Firdaus: go fuck your mother.
